【摘要】:1.1.1Thisstandardcoversminimumrequirementsforsafeguardinglifeandpropertyagainstfireandrelatedhazardsassociatedwithmetalandnonmetalundergroundandsurfaceminingandmetalmineralprocessingplants.1.1.2Asappliestoundergroundmining,thisstandardshallcoveronlythefollowing:(1)Diesel-poweredequipment(2)Storageandhandlingofflammableandcombustibleliquids.1.1.3Asappliestoundergroundmining,thisstandardshallnotcoverflammableandcombustibleliquidsproducedinundergroundmines,suchasshaleoilmines.1.1.4Asappliestosurfacemining,thisstandardshallcoveronlythefollowing:(1)Mobileequipmentinusewithoutitsownmotivepowertrainandnormallymovedbyself-propelledequipment(2)Self-propelledequipmentthatcontainsamotivepowertrainasanintegralpartoftheunitandisnotrail-mounted1.1.5Thisstandardshallnotcoverbuildingsoremployeehousingandsupportfacilitiesforaminingoperation,orpreparationoruseofexplosives.1.1.6*Asappliestometalmineralprocessing,thisstandardshallcoverfireandrelatedhazardsassociatedwithsurfacemetalmineralprocessingplantsincludingbutnotlimitedtoconveying,crushing,finemilling,beneficiation,flotation,drying,filtering,oreandconcentratestorage,andsupportfacilitiesforthemineralprocessingactivity.1.1.7*Asappliestosurfacemetalmineralprocessingplants,thisstandardshallnotcoverthefollowing:(1)Solventextractionplants(2)Pressure-leachingprocesses(3)Aluminarefineries(4)Nonmetalmineralprocessingplants(5)Metalsmeltersincludingroasting,sintering,andcalcining(6)Metalrefineriessuchaselectrowinningorelectro-refiningprocesses(7)Gas,liquid,orsolidwastehandlingorstoragesystems1.1.8Nothinginthisstandardisintendedtoprohibittheuseofnewmethodsordevices,providedsufficienttechnicaldataaresubmittedtotheauthorityhavingjurisdictiontodemonstratethatthenewmethodordeviceisequivalentinquality,effectiveness,durability,andsafetytothatspecifiedbythisstandard.

【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverschlorinatedpoly(vinylchloride)(CPVC)pipemadeinstandardthermoplasticpipedimensionratiosandpressureratedforwater(seeAppendix).IncludedarecriteriaforclassifyingCPVCplasticpipematerialsandCPVCplasticpipe,andrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,workmanship,dimensions,sustainedpressure,burstpressure,flattening,andextrusionquality.Methodsofmarkingarealsogiven.Note18212;TheCPVCpipecoveredbythisspecificationwascoveredpreviouslyinSpecificationD2241.Note28212;ThesustainedandburstpressuretestrequirementsandthepressureratingsintheAppendixarecalculatedfromstressvaluesobtainedfromtestsmadeonpipe2in.(50mm)andsmaller.However,testsonlargerpipehaveshownthesestressvaluestobevalid.1.2Theproductscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedforusewiththedistributionofpressurizedliquidsonly,whicharechemicallycompatiblewiththepipingmaterials.Duetoinherenthazardsassociatedwithtestingcomponentsandsystemswithcompressedairorothercompressedgasessomemanufacturersdonotallowpneumatictestingoftheirproducts.Consultwithspecificproduct/componentmanufacturersfortheirspecifictestingprocedurespriortopneumatictesting.Note38212;Pressurized(compressed)airorothercompressedgasescontainlargeamountsofstoredenergywhichpresentserioussafteyhazardsshouldasystemfailforanyreason.1.3Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section8,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.AspecificprecautionarystatementisgiveninNote6.
