【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedprimarilyfordetectingsignificantchangesinthedynamicmodulusofelasticityoflaboratoryorfieldtestspecimensthatareundergoingexposuretoweatheringorothertypesofpotentiallydeterioratinginfluences.Thevalueofthedynamicmodulusofelasticityobtainedbythistestmethodwill,ingeneral,begreaterthanthestaticmodulusofelasticityobtainedbyusingTestMethodC469.Thedifferencedepends,inpart,onthestrengthleveloftheconcrete.Theconditionsofmanufacture,themoisturecontent,andothercharacteristicsofthetestspecimens(seesectiononTestSpecimens)materiallyinfluencetheresultsobtained.Differentcomputedvaluesforthedynamicmodulusofelasticitymayresultfromwidelydifferentresonantfrequenciesofspecimensofdifferentsizesandshapesofthesameconcrete.Therefore,itisnotadvisabletocompareresultsfromspecimensofdifferentsizesorshapes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversmeasurementofthefundamentaltransverse,longitudinal,andtorsionalfrequenciesofconcreteprismsandcylindersforthepurposeofcalculatingdynamicYoung'smodulusofelasticity,thedynamicmodulusofrigidity(sometimesdesignatedas"themodulusofelasticityinshear"),anddynamicPoisson'sratio.1.2valuesinSIunitsarethestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
