【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresfortestingelectricalinsulatingsleevingcomprisingaflexibletubularproductmadefromawoventextilefibrebase,suchascotton,rayon,nylon,orglass,thereafterimpregnated,orcoated,orimpregnatedandcoated,withasuitabledielectricmaterial.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunits,exceptforC,aretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.SeeSectionsthrough,whicharetheproceduresforflammabilitytests.Thesetestmethodscanbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions,butshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentwhichtakeintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see45.2and63.1.1.Note1-ThisstandardresemblesIEC60684-2,SpecificationforFlexibleInsulatingSleeving-Part2MethodsofTest,inanumberofways,butisnotconsistentlysimilarthroughout.Thedataobtainedusingeitherstandardmaynotbetechnicallyequivalent.
