【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesguidanceontheselectionofanacceptancesamplingsystem,schemeorplanforinspectionbyvariables.ItdoesthisprincipallybyreviewingtheavailablesystemsspecifiedbyvariousBritishStandardsandshowingwaysinwhichthesecanbecomparedinordertoassesstheirsuitabilityforanintendedapplication.Itisassumedthatthechoicehasalreadybeenmadetousesamplingbyvariablesinpreferencetosamplingbyattributes.TheguidanceinthisBritishStandardisconfinedtoacceptancesamplingofproductsthataresuppliedinlotsandthatcanbeclassifiedasconsistingofdiscreteitems(i.e.discretearticlesofproduct).Eachiteminalotcanbeidentifiedandsegregatedfromtheotheritemsinthelotandhasanequalchanceofbeingincludedinthesample.Eachitemofproductiscountableandhasspecificcharacteristicsthataremeasurableonacontinuousscale.Eachcharacteristichas,atleasttoagoodapproximation,anormaldistributionoradistributionthatcanbetransformedsothatitcloselyresemblesanormaldistribution.Standardsonacceptancesamplingbyvariablesareapplicabletoawidevarietyofinspectionsituations.Theseinclude,butarenotlimitedto,thefollowing:a)enditems,suchascompleteproductsorsub-assemblies;b)componentsandrawmaterials;c)services;d)materialsinprocess;e)suppliesinstorage;f)maintenanceoperations;g)dataorrecords;h)administrativeprocedures.AlthoughthisBritishStandardiswrittenprincipallyintermsofmanufactureandproduction,thisshouldbeinterpretedliberallyasitisapplicabletotheselectionofsamplingsystems,schemesandplansforalltypesofproductandprocessesasdefinedinBSENISO9000.
